Module 2 – Clearing Away

Removing Obstacles Between Yourself and Others

In Module 1, you began to notice the automatic actions of your inner landscape—the thoughts, moods, and habits that quietly organize your days. Module 2 turns more deliberately toward the parts of you that that tend to derail, flood, or shut down connection. Explore how to meet them with curiosity and compassion, and how to loosen their grip.

The focus of this Module is on the persistent patterns that keep you from living with more ease, joy, and connection and then to look for the gifts embedded in your “flaws.” You’ll explore how to:

✅ Identify and reorganize the key parts of your operating system

✅ Investigate the tendency to blame and replaced it with harmony and care

✅ Discover forgiveness as the ultimate balm to apply to internal and external struggles.

What this module explores

Over several months, you explore questions such as:

  • What are the familiar roles I take on when I feel vulnerable, challenged, or exposed?

    • How did these roles come to be, and what are they trying to protect?

    • In what situations do they still serve me, and where do they now constrict or exhaust me?

    • Is it possible to meet these parts with respect, without letting them run my life?

  • What is my tendency to blame when I am faced with discomfort?

    • What are my irritants trying to show me?

    • What do these parts truly need?

  • How unmet expectations bankrupt your sense of self-worth.

How we work together

As in Module 1, this module combines:

  • Regular individual practice – short readings, reflections, and inquiries you can do on your own.

  • Bi-weekly Zoom sessions – time to explore what you’re discovering, hear from others, and try out the practices in a supported setting.

You are always at choice about how much you share. The emphasis is on lived experience, not performance.

What you’ll be practicing

Mapping your patterns. Simple exercises to name and describe your most active parts—how they feel in your body, the stories they tell, and what tends to trigger them.

  • Listening without collapsing. Guided practices that help you hear what a part is trying to do for you, without automatically believing its conclusions.

  • Experimenting with new responses. Small, real-life experiments where you pause and try something different when a familiar pattern is about to take over.

  • Offering kindness to yourself. Practices that bring warmth to the very places that may have felt like problems for years.

  • Forgiving long-standing debts. Examining how past wrongs have lingered and applying the ultimate balm.

Module 2 may be a good fit if:

You’ve completed Module 1 and want to go further into the explorations and benefits you experienced there.

  • You recognize recurring ways you pull back, defend, or over-manage—and you’re curious about what’s underneath.

  • You’re willing to approach these parts with patience and respect, even if they feel uncomfortable.

Prerequisite: Completion of Module 1.
Scheduling: Dates and details will be shared directly with Module 1 alumni.
